Awning & casement windows

Altherm awning windows are New Zealand’s most popular window format. They push out from the bottom, providing weather protection when open. Awning windows are available in various profiles across the Altherm Residential, Metro and APL Architectural Series.

Our side-opening casement windows catch the breeze and direct air inwards. And with special window stays, they can be opened to 90 degrees.

In exposed positions they may be secured with a restrictor. Shelter from above with projecting eaves or soffits is desirable to provide good weather cover.
